History:
One of the Premiere Distillery Unit in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The company started production in july 1997 after prohibition was lifted in Andhra Pradesh. The company later diversified in to blending and bottling of Indian Made Foreign Liquors. The company was tied up with Tilaknagar Industries Ltd., to bottle their brands from 2007 until 2012.
Today Rhizome has Imperial Gold Whisky, Royal Gold Whisky, Marshall Brandy, Hero No 1 Whisky & Hero XXX Rum, that are successful brands in Andhra Pradesh selling 5 million cases per year.
